Finally, the PSL comes to Pakistan after a long tiring fight with terrorism. All the Pakistani are standing with the security forces backing them for a peaceful event pursuance.

Approximately 10,000 security officials are appointed including the Police, Rangers, Dolphin Force and other security forces. Rescue 1122 providing 300 medical technicians, firefighters, and disaster rescuers 30 mobile rescue posts set up at Gaddafi Stadium enclosures. Also, 12 fire vehicles and four rescue vans stationed. Gigantic metal gates have protected the Ground. The spectators can pass the Gaddafi Stadium gate only after three layers of security checks after the verification of the person’s original national identification card (CNIC). Some of them are at a two-kilometer protective perimeter around the venue.

The basis of this present point of security concerns for over playing international cricket in Pakistan dates back to the attack by the Sri Lankan rebels on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in March 2009 after which Pakistan being isolated and have been forced to play their home matches at foreign venues – primarily in the UAE.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to start at 6 pm local time

and the Match for 8 pm local time.

After the uncertainty of which Foreign Players are turning out for the final in Lahore, the teams have been given a chance to make up from a pool of foreign cricketers who are willing to play in Lahore.

Peshawar’s all four overseas players are likely to be available to play in Lahore while Quetta’s Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright, Tymal Mills and Rilee Rossouw have pulled themselves out of the final.

Foreign players will be offered separate payments for playing in Lahore, Pakistan an amount as high as $50,000.

The toppers in points table Peshawar Zalmi & last season runners-up Quetta Gladiators have found their way towards the final of the Second Edition of Pakistan Super League.

This season, Peshawar and Quetta meet each other for three times. The first match was abandoned due to rain, the second won by Peshawar and in the last game, Quetta barely managed to win by one run. While in previous edition Quetta won 2 out of 3 matches against Peshawar as a whole Peshawar’s team combination has been a bit better than their rivals in the current scenario.
