The 2nd match of the Pakistan Super League 2020 will be played between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The match starts at 3:00 PM local time (10:00 AM GMT) (3:30 PM IST). This match will be live on DSport in India.
Karachi Kings will begin their campaign in search of their maiden PSL title against Peshawar Zalmi on Friday. They have a pretty balanced line up that is fully equipped with some amazing batsmen like Awais Zia, Alex Hales, Babar Azam, who will look to open their PSL campaign with some good knocks with the bat. On the other hand, their bowling unit looks pretty balanced due to the presence of bowlers like Chris Jordan, Mohammad Amir, Umer Khan.
Peshawar Zalmi, in the previous season, lost a close final against Quetta Gladiators. But this time they will look to get hold of their second PSL title. They look quite strong with some amazing recruitments made by them in the PSL draft. It will be interesting to watch if they can repeat their previous season’s dominance or will go flop. However, on paper, they look the overwhelming favourites to win the game against Karachi Kings.
As per the weather forecast, there are no chances of rain on the match day. The wind will be blowing at a rate of 18 to 20 km/hr whereas the temperature will deviate between 17 and 30 Degree celsius throughout the day according to Accuweather.
The track at National Stadium is expected to go in the favour of batsmen based on the stats available. This ground has hosted a total of four T20s so far in which the team batting first has managed to go past 200 runs on three occasions. In the meantime, the side chasing ended up losing the game on the majority of occasions. The same trend is expected in the upcoming game between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi.
